Our team at The Cohort Collective has a history of helping Gen Y + Z in their career development. After giving dozens of talks and helping hundreds of candidates, we created a tried and tested curriculum to help you land your dream job. From 1:1 mentorship to access into our career development vault, we are ready to share our exclusive strategies to help secure your future.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO BE A COHORT?
All Cohorts must be 18 years or older. Cohorts from any country are eligible to apply. Cohorts must be authorized to work in their location of choice. Cohorts looking for internships and full time opportunities can both apply.
WHAT KIND OF JOBS CAN YOU HELP ME LAND?
The Cohort Collective will work with you 1:1 to help you land your dream role. This includes aerospace, consulting, design, engineering, product, operations, strategy, tech and more. A personalized and individualized approach will be taken to suit your needs.
WHAT WILL THIS COST?
It does not cost anything to join The Cohort Collective. Our main goal is to get you hired. So we don’t get paid until you do. Once you land your dream role, you pay back 5% of one year's salary. This helps us fund our bootstrapped (self-funded) company so we can afford to keep helping future cohorts. We’re in this together, from your first day in the program to your first day on the job. This is called an ISA (Income Share Agreement) model, used by many top companies, boot camps and universities like Amazon, Shopify, Lambda School and Purdue University.

WHAT WILL MY ISA CONTRACT LOOK LIKE?
The Cohort Collective follows the standard ISA model. That means our program is FREE if you don't get hired. You still leave with all our career development strategies, no strings attached. But don't worry, we have a history of helping Gen Y + Z land their dream roles. And once you land your dream role, we help you negotiate the best offer. Only then, you pay back 5% of one year's salary.

WHAT DOES THE APPLICATION PROCESS LOOK LIKE?
All applicants will be reviewed based on their merit, so make sure to differentiate yourself in your application as we value drive and passion above academics and work experience. After review, all applicants will be contacted with their results. Those that are admitted will begin the program with an orientation, followed by the curriculum, then ongoing support.
IS THE PROGrAM ONLINE?
Yes, every part of this program is online, including all 1:1s, mentorship sessions, workshops and webinars.
WHAT WILL I GET FROM THE PROGRAM?
The Cohort Collective 6 week curriculum will teach you how to navigate hiring processes, write perfect resumes and cover letters, build a stunning LinkedIn, be a pro interviewer and more. You will have access to all our strategies, templates, workshops and webinars, on top of 1:1 mentorship sessions. We want to help you land your dream job.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CURRICULUM?
The Cohort Collective will continue to support you throughout your entire career development and job search journey. This includes personalized 1:1s and mentorship sessions, along with a host of other resources from our vault including exclusive events and strategies.
HOW MUCH TIME DO I HAVE TO COMMIT?
The curriculum sessions will be held on Saturday afternoons (CST). Expect a weekly time commitment of anywhere between 5 - 10 hours.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO LAND A ROLE?
We have a history of helping Gen Y + Z land their dream roles. It can take anywhere from 4-9 months depending on the candidate's experience, job search familiarity and work ethic. Career development looks different to each individual and we will support you on a personalized basis to help you land your dream role.
WHAT IF I WANT TO DROP OUT OF THE PROGRAM?
You can drop out of the program within the first 7 days, no strings attached.
WILL YOU HELP ME GET REFERRED?
Not only will we help you get referred, we will teach out how to get a referral. You will have access to a wide network where you can build and maintain your circle.
HOW WILL YOU DETERMINE IF I GET HIRED THROUGH YOU?
Our team at The Cohort Collective invests a lot of time and energy to develop our curriculum and program for you, so this is at our sole discretion. Individual cases may be seen accordingly.
